Bev Ayre

Bev has over 30 years experience producing and commissioning outdoor arts programmes, performance, festivals, exhibitions, civic celebrations and opening ceremonies for national and international clients, including Culture Liverpool, Uniglobal World Congress and KPH Poland. Most recently producing the opening and closing ceremonies of the Vitality Netball World Cup and creative programmes for the Three Festivals Tall Ships Regatta, Mersey River Festival, Sgt Pepper at 50 celebrations and Knowsley Borough of Culture.

After starting out as a production manager in London’s West End, she moved into charity event fundraising and was the first in the sector to develop international challenges, producing treks and cycle rides all over the world as well as golf, football, fashion and theatre events. She is committed to arts for social justice having worked as Director of Development for Stonewall and having produced the countries leading LGBT arts festival Homotopia for 12 years.
