Strolling Bones

Date: 26 October 2018 to 27 October 2018

Location: Manchester

Client: Heart of Manchester BID Company Ltd & CityCo Manchester

For the last weekend in October we produced a new Halloween-themed mini parade along Market Street and the Arndale Centre in Manchester with a small troupe of Skeleton puppetsĀ that made their way through the afternoon crowds - and looked particularly surreal wending their way down the escalators.

Halloween is rapidly emerging as one of the top autumnal celebrations here in the UK and the build up with events like this formed part of a wider programme of events curated by Manchester City Council for the Halloween weekend.

Our Strolling Bones parade was created with some bespoke back-pack mounted skeleton puppets who strutted their skeletal stuff to a choreographed dance routine.

"We're delighted to be creative producers for this small, unique parade in the heart of the city with some fascinating larger than life mechanical skeletons which are sure to cause a stir among Saturday afternoon shoppers and provide some great selfie-moments."

Billie Klinger, Producer.
