Mind the Gap – Stage Manager / DSM
Walk the Plank, in collaboration with Mind the Gap, is seeking an experienced Stage Manager / DSM to be an integral part of the delivery team, for an hour-long, large scale, outdoor spectacle: ZARA
The Stage Manager will work to support the director, creative team and artists, to prepare and rehearse this major outdoor theatre work, featuring large-scale puppetry, music, projection, and 100 strong community cast alongside Mind the Gap’s core performance company.
Mind the Gap is one of Europe’s leading learning disability theatre companies, and is based in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Zara is a co-production with Walk the Plank, funded through Arts Council England Ambition for Excellence and others.

The contract covers 10 Weeks: 4th of March 2019 to 13 May, with a 1-week break w/c 22 April.
Events Dates: Zara will take place in Halifax w/c 15 April and London w/c 6 May 2019.
It is essential that applicants are available for both full events weeks. Please note this period includes the Easter weekend, 19 April – 21 April.

Halifax: Piece Hall – Event North
Southwark: Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park – Event South
