ELEVATE gives artists and community leaders the opportunity to gain inspiration and skills from internationally renowned musicians, designers and participatory artists.

The workshops are supported by Arts Council England and aim to support regional artists to create world-class art in the public realm. ELEVATE’s masterclass series is a partnership project between Manchester City Council and Walk the Plank's learning programme.

ELEVATE supports artists and community groups participating in Manchester Day. One of the largest community outdoor arts events in the North West, bringing colour, dance, music and spectacle to the streets of Manchester in a celebration of all things Mancunian. Now in its 8th year, the next Manchester Day will take place on the 18 June 2017.
