Trixabelle Bold gained a BA Hons Dance with Creative Music Technology from University of Hull in 2004 followed by a PGCE in Performing Arts from Liverpool Hope University in 2006, she later graduated from University of Salford with a distinction in her MA Creative Education in 2011.
Trixi is a passionate educator of Dance & Drama with Qualified Teacher Status running a successful Dance department in a secondary school for 11 years, recently leaving teaching in July 2017 to concentrate on her free-lance work. As a free-lance artist, she works in a range of educational and community settings delivering Performing Arts workshops with participants of all ages and works as a choreographer for parades, festivals & showcases.
She has worked with; Walk the Plank as an artist on Manchester Day and the Sowing Seeds project, Dance Manchester & Company Chameleon delivering STRIDE a boys dance initiative, Can’t Dance Can as a choreographer and workshop facilitator working with young people with special educational needs and with Hoot Creative Arts delivering a series of workshops with adults with mental health illness and special needs.
Her performance work includes; touring with the musical theatre production of Vampires Rock, contemporary dance performance, fronting covers band TRIX, performing in music videos, walk about & stage performance at festivals and dancing at a variety of corporate events and club nights. Clients include Wild Rumpus, Alberts Schloss, Invisible Dust, Axial Dance and Ear to the ground.
Outdoor performance work is her passion along with bringing the Arts to all communities to entertain, engage & educate.
